Milford, CTÂ - EAO Corporation of Milford, CT USA, a premier global supplier of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems and Components, will receive two major industry accolades at the 2013 Frost and Sullivan Manufacturing Leadership (ML100) Awards.
The United States' subsidiary, EAO Corporation has been selected for an Innovative Enterprise Award for outstanding work to expand its HMI Systems design and manufacturing capabilities. EAO's team will be honored at a gala celebration during the annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit to be held in Palm Beach, Florida, USA, on May 15, 2013. At the same time, Lance Scott, CEO of EAO Corporation will take home a ML100 Manufacturing Entrepreneur Award for his leadership, impact, and influence on the industry.
Lance said, 'Being recognized as one of the top 100 world-class manufacturing companies is a huge achievement for EAO. We're especially excited as these accolades reflect our efforts within the development of HMI systems, our capabilities as a manufacturing facility, and our influence on industry. I'm also very proud to be seen as a leading manufacturing executive - it's a great personal milestone."
Talking about the project ‘Expansion of HMI Systems design and manufacturing capabilities, which won the Innovative Enterprise award, Lance said, “We have recognized a weakness in the market for offering design and consultative support to customers to address their needs. Engineering competence, industrial design, and local production capabilities are the keys to project success and the means to meet customer requirements. As an expert partner, it is important to work directly with the customer for a better understanding of all aspects of application requirements in order to facilitate a “mixed technologies” solution.
“In addition to our on hand knowledge and history of HMI component design and selection, we also offer expert guidance regarding safety, regulatory, and ergonomic standards as well as an array of communication interface protocols. This unique “mixed technologies HMI” approach integrates all forms of HMI to accommodate end user requirements to meet application needs and provide a complete, intuitive, ergonomic and successful HMI System.”
Winners of ML100 Awards, which this year includes Ford, IBM and GE, hail from the United States, Canada, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Switzerland. Recipients have distinguished themselves by “embracing breakthrough innovation and enabling their companies to anticipate and respond to customers with unmatched agility," reported Frost and Sullivan.
