(October 27, 2005, Shelby Twp., MI) Tucker Induction Systems, Inc. of Shelby Township Michigan announces noted induction heating author and industry speaker, Micah Black to Chief Engineer/Sales Engineer. Black brings a quarter century of industry experience and expertise in induction tooling, machinery and systems design and manufacturing to Tucker. Black has been involved in the Induction Industry for 24 years as an induction tooling designer, design supervisor and project manager.

Black will oversee the development and installation of all Tucker induction tooling including a new line of standard induction scanners and power supplies. Black is co-author of the "Handbook of Induction Heating", published by Marcel Dekker in 2003 and co-author of the "Steel Heat Treatment Handbook", also published by Dekker in 1997. Both are relied upon as a main resource and reference in the industry. Black has also contributed to a number of different articles on induction heating published in Industrial Heating, Process Heating and Advanced Materials & Processes. He is also an active member of the ASM International - (American Society for Metals).
