TTI Earns Coveted Tier III Status by U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Fort Worth, TX – June 17, 2021 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is pleased to announce the company has been awarded coveted Tier III status by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a member of Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program, having exceeded minimum security criteria and demonstrated CTPAT best practices in our most recent validation.

“Tier III status has been achieved by only a few hundred CTPAT members,” stated John Archer, Corporate SVP, Ethics and Compliance/General Counsel. “We are honored by this award and thank all team members who participated in the latest validation by CBP.”

Since 2001, CTPAT has provided the trade community a platform to strengthen international supply chains and improve U.S. border security, in return for benefits such as reduced examinations, shorter wait times at the border, and mutual recognition arrangements with other foreign customs administrations. Tier III status represents a significant enhancement of these benefits including expedited cargo release and further reduction in the risk score assigned pursuant to CBP’s Automated Targeting System.
