Tripp Lite PowerAlert Now Supports VMware
PowerAlert Power Management Software Now Supports VMware Virtualization Client
Chicago, IL (January 5, 2011) - Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, has announced that its PowerAlert Network Shutdown Agent (PANSA) and PowerAlert Local (PAL) programs are now fully compatible with VMware.
PAL allows end-users to manage UPS systems connected to a computer through USB or serial cables for a basic unattended shutdown. PANSA enables networked computers not directly connected to a UPS to shut down automatically when a power problem is detected, and is configurable to respond to specific power events via an SNMP or serial connection.
