Trident's advanced set-top box SoCs and LG CNS' software expertise brings Android functionality to digital home

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Trident Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRID), a leading provider of set-top box and TV semiconductor solutions, today announced that its latest set-top box system-on-a-chip (SoCs) powers an advanced Android-based hybrid STB developed by LG CNS of South Korea.
