TRIB Announces New Slate of Board Officers and Selects New Managing Director
Pacific Grove, CA - The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), a non-profit, member-supported industry association dedicated to the recycling of tires through retreading and repairing, announced the election of new Board Officers including:
Bob Majewski, President & COO of Sumerel Tire Service was elected President.
Eddie Burleson, General Manager of Central Marketing was elected Vice President.
Philip Boarts, Director of Marketing of Oliver Rubber Company was elected Secretary.
Mr. Majewski said, "We'd like to thank our previous Officers for the work they've done for us and we are very excited and eager to serve the great industries and members we represent."
TRIB also announced the hiring of David Stevens as the new Managing Director of TRIB. Mr. Stevens comes to TRIB with almost two decades of Marketing, Public Relations, Sales and Customer Service management experience with both US and International organizations. Mr. Stevens commented, "I'm grateful to the Board for the faith they've placed in me to lead TRIB as we continue to do the important work of educating the public as well as private companies about the positive economic and environmental benefits of tire retreading and repairing."
