Transtecno Releases Compact, Powerful Right Angle Worm Gearmotor Line
PMDC gearmotors cover a large range of output speeds and torques
Alton, Iowa - Transtecno Group based in Bologna, Italy has released a new line of permanent magnet right angle worm gearmotors for numerous applications. "The Transtecno line of PMDC right angle worm gearmotors has 5 motor sizes available in 12v & 24v, coupled to a possible 12 different gearbox ratios, along with 5 different gearbox sizes. This makes the performance options available almost endless." stated Alex Aposkitis, North American Markets Manager at the Transtecno Group Headquarters.
The PMDC Motors have the following features:
o 5 sizes - EC070, EC100, EC180, EC350 and EC600
o Low voltage 12v or 24v DC
o Power ratings from 0.40HP (30W) to 1.07HP (800W) - intermittent duty cycle
o Ferrite Magnets
o Optional encoder can be added
The right angle worm gearboxes have the following features:
o 5 sizes - CM26, CM30, CM40, CM50 and CM63
o Ratio Range from 5:1 to 100:1
o Hollow output standard with plug in shaft options (single or double)
o Foot, Flange, Shaft or Torque Arm mounting options
o Die-cast Aluminum Housing
o Permanent synthetic lubrication for a completely maintenance free gearbox
o Precision machined worm gear and worm shaft provide quiet operation and premium efficiency
o Corrosion free powder coat finish
