New literature is available from Transhield, Inc. featuring its Shrinkable Fabric(TM) covers for new and out of service aircraft and aircraft parts such as engines, landing gears and other parts subject to damage during shipping and storage.
The new sheet describes the three layers of Transhield's Shrinkable Fabric: a UV-resistant and anti-condensation outer layer, a middle adhesive layer and a soft inner layer to protect product finishes.
The company's patented Adhesive Additive Delivery - Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (AAD-VCI) System is also featured and provides 100% protection against corrosion during shipping and storage. Several images of various applications for the covers are also included.
