Tracey Marut Partner of the Year Award


On December 12th, 2014, AVK Carbo-Bond/BI-TORQ Valve Automation in La Fox, IL will announce its 1st annual Tracey Jackson Marut “Partner of the Year” Award. This award will go to the customer or vendor who best represents the qualities Tracey embodied as co-owner of our company from 1992 to 2010. Those qualities include enthusiasm, good humor, a positive attitude, dedication, optimism and friendly interaction. A donation of $2500 will be made in the recipient’s name to The Living Well Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, IL.

Tracey Jackson Marut was the VP of Finances for AVK Carbo-Bond/BI-TORQ Valve Automation from 1992 through 2010. Her courage and perpetual optimism through a decade-long battle against colon cancer was just one of the remarkable aspects of her life. She was a compassionate volunteer, hard worker, and life of the party.



The Living Well Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, IL serves as a vital component to comprehensive cancer care and stands as a gathering place that provides comfort and community to anyone experiencing the effects of cancer. Their hope is that program participants will feel less alone, better informed, more hopeful, and empowered to take on the challenge of facing cancer by participating in programs and services offered by Living Well.
