Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A, Inc. Promotes Cesar Jimenez to National Product Planning Manager


IRVINE, Calif., (Nov. 23, 2010) ¡V Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) today announced the promotion of Cesar Jimenez to national product planning manager. With this promotion, Jimenez is responsible for the product planning activities for all classes of lift trucks distributed by TMHU and developing new products and services to meet the demands of Toyota¡¦s material handling customers.

"Cesar's relentless work ethic, attention to detail and enthusiasm combined with his ability to manage efficiently and effectively is, and will continue to be, a valuable asset to the future of TMHU," said Martin Boyd, vice president of product planning and marketing at TMHU.

Jimenez began his career at Toyota as a college intern in the summer of 1996. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in the successful launch of more than 20 material handling products. During his career at Toyota, Jimenez has held a number of positions including market application engineer, product planning engineer, product marketing engineer, and electric product planning and product marketing manager.

In 1993, Jimenez was the recipient of a Toyota-funded four-year scholarship from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), an organization that provides the Latino community with more college scholarships and support than any other in the world. For more than 20 years, Toyota has partnered with HSF to help provide more than $2 million in scholarships - and awarded 25 scholarships in one year alone.

Jimenez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California. He resides in Long Beach, Calif., with his wife and two daughters.
