Tom Coyne to Discuss Order Fulfillment in the Footwear and Apparel Industries at ProMat 2007


LEWISTON, MAINE - DECEMBER 1, 2006 - Tom Coyne, CEO of Diamond Phoenix, will present a seminar on order fulfillment solutions for the footwear and apparel industries at ProMat 2007 in January. The seminar, titled "A New Paradigm for Automating Storage and Order Picking in the Footwear and Apparel Industries", will present a creative new approach that may be applied in both large and medium sized operations. Discussion will cover how picking rates can be increased, replenishment of labor eliminated, overall building square footage reduced and material handling investments decreased.

With strong international business knowledge and experience, Mr. Coyne is a recognized expert in the design/build approach to implementing automated material handling systems. Prior to his leadership role at Diamond Phoenix, Mr. Coyne was Chief Financial Officer for design/build firm Broad Rack Structures, shuttling between Detroit, London and Irapuato, Mexico. From 1987-97, he worked with Rapistan DEMAG Corp., rising to Group Manager of Integration Programs with top-level responsibility for concepting, estimating, project management, engineering and construction site management.

"A New Paradigm for Automating Storage and Order Picking in the Footwear and Apparel Industries" (Session 205) is a free seminar that will take place on Tuesday, January 09, 2007 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Theater A on the show floor at ProMat. ProMat 2007 will be held at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL, from January 8-11, 2007.
