Timken Earns Spot on Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces 2021 List

Selection is based on employee feedback and is latest in a series of employer accolades for Timken this year

North Canton, Ohio, June 28, 2021 -- The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR; www.timken.com), a global leader in engineered bearings and power transmission products, has earned a spot on the Top Workplaces 2021 list compiled by The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to a culture that values ethics and integrity, quality, teamwork and excellence. This is the third year in a row Timken has made the list.

“This honor reflects our strong and collaborative culture and the outstanding associates behind it,” said Natasha Pollock, Timken vice president, human resources. “This past year, our team overcame unprecedented challenges and delivered for our customers with unrelenting commitment, engagement and integrity. And through it all, we listened intently to our associates to stay close to their needs, connection and wellbeing.”

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization and include alignment, execution and connection, just to name a few.

Timken, which has long been recognized as an employer of choice, has also been cited by Forbes as one of America's Best Employers of 2021, and as one of America’s Best Employers for New Graduates 2021. Also this year, the Ethisphere Institute named Timken to its list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the 11th time.
