Thiele Technologies, Inc. to Acquire Certain Assets of Streamfeeder, LLC


MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Oct. 24, 2006 - Robert H. Chapman, Chairman and CEO of Barry-
Wehmiller Companies, Inc., and Larry Smith, President and CEO of Thiele Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of high-speed packaging equipment in Minneapolis, Minn., have announced an agreement to acquire certain assets and the business of Streamfeeder, LLC of Minneapolis.

Commenting on the planned transaction, Smith said, "Combining the Streamfeeder business with Thiele Technologies' extensive capabilities and experience will provide Streamfeeder's customers with a variety of new packaging solutions. It will enable Streamfeeder's sales team to offer a broader line of packaging equipment to their customers in the commercial printing, packaging and mail fulfillment sectors. We are very excited about joining forces with Streamfeeder, a highly respected equipment company, and expanding our customer base into these markets."

Thiele Technologies, Inc., a division of Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc., was formed as an operating group in 1998 through the acquisition of Bemis Packaging Machinery Company and the subsequent integration of Thiele Engineering, Master Palletizer, Frontier Packaging, Edmeyer Dairy Systems and Slidell Machinery.
