Thermo Fisher Scientific Announces Its 2008 Europe Informatics Conference


PHILADELPHIA (August 29, 2008) - Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, has scheduled its annual European laboratory Informatics user group meeting, Thermo Informatics World (TIW), from October 20 - 23, 2008 in Budapest, Hungary. The conference will not only profile the company's strategic and product roadmaps, but also will demonstrate its latest informatics offerings that address the growing data management and instrument integration challenges of today's laboratories.

TIW Europe 2008 will provide users with enhanced knowledge, tools and capabilities for integrating Thermo Scientific LIMS (laboratory information management systems) and CDS (chromatography data systems) across laboratory instruments and the enterprise, increasing collaboration and facilitating more informed decision making. This year's theme is "where your solution is a sure thing." Thermo Scientific LIMS and CDS are utilized in laboratories around the world and in diverse industries including chemicals, environmental, food and beverage, forensics, metals and mining, pharmaceuticals and bioanalytical, environmental and wastewater.
