Thermal Ceramics Awarded ISO 14001 Certification
We are pleased to announce that Thermal Ceramics Inc. - Augusta, GA USA - facility has received the ISO 14001 certification. The ISO 14001 standard is the corner stone of the ISO 14000 series. It specifies a framework of control for an Environmental Management System (EMS) against which an organization can be certified by a third party.
The ISO 14000 is a series of international standards on environmental management that Thermal Ceramics has chosen to implement globally. It provides a framework for the development of an environmental management system and the supporting audit program.
Thermal Ceramics EMS provides a framework for managing environmental impacts in order to improve the efficiency and integration of these systems in the overall business operations. However, much more than this, our effective EMS will reduce costs, improve efficiency, and help secure a competitive advantage.
