THE CANADIAN SHIELD ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH CANADIAN HOSPITAL SPECIALTIES
WATERLOO, ON | MARCH 11, 2021 —The Canadian Shield is proud to announce that it has partnered with Oakville, Ontario-based Canadian Hospital Specialties (CHS), a national specialty distributor of medical and surgical products to help strengthen the medical device industry in Canada.
With the shared belief that a strong medical device industry is necessary to provide safety and security for the country’s healthcare system, this new strategic partnership will propel The Canadian Shield one step closer in fulfilling their commitment to making Canadian-made Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) accessible for Canadian hospitals.
The alliance between The Canadian Shield and Canadian Hospital Specialties will see The Canadian Shield’s medical-grade procedural and surgical face masks as well as other Class 1 medical devices included in a number of CHS surgical kits distributed to hospitals across the country.
