Tennessee Rand Expands its Machining Capabilities with Mazak CNC Lathe
Tennessee Rand has added to their already impressive array of CNC machining equipment. We recently purchased and installed a new Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 250 CNC lathe. This new piece of equipment will add to our turning capabilities as it has a larger turning diameter, a longer stroke and more spindle speed than our current lathes.
Tennessee Rand has one of the largest machine shops in the Southeast including 32 Mazak CNC milling machines and 3 Mazak CNC lathes. We also have a full complement of manual machines and wire and sinker EDMs. We are capable of providing 4th and 5th axis machining as well as 3 dimensional contours. Our machine shop is ISO 9000 certified and NQA-1 compliant. With a two shift operation and over 40 experienced machinists, we have the experience, capabilities, and capacity to meet your custom machining needs
