Technic Engineered Powders Division Appoints Dr. Brendan Farrell as Director of Research and Development
Woonsocket, RI USA - The Technic Inc. Engineered Powders Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brendan Farrell as the Director of Research and Development. Dr. Farrell will lead the development of new products, allowing the Engineered Powders Division to advance its position as a world-class provider of precious metal powders and flakes.
With over ten years experience in the metallic powder industry, Dr. Farrell’s expertise ranges from performing and managing bench scale research to coordinating full-scale production operations. Dr. Farrell was most recently Senior Engineer at Technic, where his responsibilities included Silflake® production and TechniMask solder mask manufacturing he also played an integral role in specialty powder production and new product development. Before joining Technic, Dr. Farrell was an RD Project Leader and Analytical Lab Manager at Metalor Technologies USA.
Dr. Farrell earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He has published several peer review articles in the field of fine particle science and holds several US and Foreign Patents. Dr. Farrell is a frequent presenter at both national and international conferences.
