Technetics Group Names Sales Managers for Oil and Gas Sector


Houston, Tex.- Cindy Krishna and John Vozniak have joined the Technetics Group as senior market managers for its oil and gas, valve (OGV) and industrial team, reporting to Chad Thomas, director of sales.

Krishna will manage all OGV-related sales activity in the U.K. and Scandinavia, increasing the group's focus and presence in this market. She comes to Technetics from Emerson Electric Company, where she developed the oil and gas market for its line of solenoid valves. Previously, she worked as an oil and gas focused product manager for the Norgren business unit of IMI, which manufactures instrumentation and control valves. Krishna is a chartered engineer and a graduate of Liverpool University, where she earned both a bachelor's degree in engineering science and a master's degree in manufacturing systems and technology.

Vozniak has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and will manage all North American sales activity in the sector. Starting his career as a production tester for Schlumberger in the Gulf of Mexico, he also worked as drilling engineer and drilling engineer for Maurer Engineering. Subsequently he served as president of Maurer Training Inc., conducting courses on advanced drilling techniques for more than 120 companies worldwide. In addition, he has worked in deep water drilling for Baker Oil Tools and consulting and project management for Halliburton. He holds a degree in petroleum engineering from West Virginia University, and currently serves on the Ultra Deepwater Project Advisement Committee for the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America.
