Taiyo America Promotes John Fix

Taiyo has promoted John Fix to Manager & Director of Sales and Marketing effective December 1, 2010.
"With his broad knowledge of the workings of Taiyo's business, John will significantly help us to strengthen Taiyo´s presence in the market and to make the sales operations extraordinary" said Harry Yoshimoto, Taiyo´s President, and he added: "In his new role, John will work closely with Taiyo's sales force to retain their strong hold on the North American market and to grow their European market, as well as other areas. With his marketing team, he will direct the important task of company branding by spreading the word that, You Are Not Alone With Taiyo."
"This is a great challenge but we have a tremendous sales and marketing group that has over 206 years of PCB experience." said John Fix, Taiyo's new Manager & Director of Sales and Marketing.
John has a BS in Biology and a Masters Degree in Business Marketing. He started in the Printed Circuit Board Industry in 1992 as a solder mask Formulating Chemist at Morton and later was an Applications Engineer at Ciba. John joined Taiyo in November of 2000 and has held the OEM/Technical Service Manager position until recently making great strides in gaining market share in Europe by creating relationships and building a strong foundation of distributors.
