TAB Industries Installs New Press Brake
Metals Manufacturer Strengthens In-House Capabilities with Machinery Acquisition
Reading, PA: Metalworking manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa. (TABIndustries.com), recently purchased a new press brake. Installed in the company's 44,000-square foot, Reading, Pa. manufacturing center, the U.S. Industrial Machinery hydraulic CNC brake press strengthens the metal shop's range of bending capabilities and expands its slate of in-house metal fabrication services. The automated machinery features custom press brake tooling from Mate, Anoka, MN, that permits forming multiple bends at multiple angles varying to 90 degrees in a single stroke, and a multiaxis, color graphic control system that presents the part on screen to support and enhance operator control over each compound, inside, outside, or other bend.
Installed just weeks after the installation of a new laser cutter, the new press brake represents a key part of the company's ongoing series of strategic investments devised to offer customers fast lead times, strict quality control, and a high level of customer service, according to Tom Brizek, president. The growing metalworking shop currently offers laser cutting, CNC and traditional machining, MIG/TIG welding, powder coating, and a variety of engineering, fabricating, finishing, assembly, packaging, and supply chain services.
