TAB Industries Installs New Laser Cutter

Growing Metals Manufacturer Expands In-House Capabilities

Reading, PA: Metalworking manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pa. (TABIndustries.com), recently purchased a new 3300 Bescutter Fiber Optic Laser cutting system. Installed in the company's 44,000-square foot, Reading, Pa. manufacturing center, the new laser cutting machine expands the metal shop's in-house capabilities, which encompass metal fabrication, CNC and traditional machining, MIG/TIG welding, stamping, deburring, powder coating, and a variety of engineering, finishing, assembly, packaging, and supply chain services. The new laser represents a strategic investment to strengthen its laser cutting services and offer customers fast lead times on dependable schedules with personal access to company ownership, according to Tom Brizek, president of TAB Industries.

"Nearly everyone sourcing culling services today understands that laser offers superior precision, quality and speed compared to other methods," says Brizek, who founded the family-owned company in 2005. "That has increased demand for laser cut parts and buried many of the cutting companies. We needed to increase our laser cutting capabilities in order to make sure our customers get top priority." The new laser cutter marks the latest of the company's recent equipment investments, which include a new press brake, TIG welding station, and state-of-the-art powder coating line.
