Chuck Hammond To Guide Brand And Marketing Strategy For Bay Area Technology Company
CONCORD, Calif., Sept. 26, 2007-Systron Donner Automotive, an automotive supplier of inertial measurement products for advanced vehicle safety systems, is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles Hammond to strategic business development manager. In his new position, Hammond will oversee marketing, program management and business development for the company.
In his previous position as senior program manager, Hammond's responsibilities included the strategic direction, guidance and management of multi-million dollar automotive accounts and the pioneering of new sensor technology into enhanced vehicle safety applications. In addition to his previous responsibilities as senior program manager, Hammond's new and additional responsibilities include the marketing strategy, implementation and vision for the Systron Donner Automotive brand. Hammond will also oversee Systron Donner Automotive's marketing initiatives to guide brand exposure and build brand recognition beyond the automotive industry.
After serving as an Infantry Officer at the United States Army National Training Center, Hammond began his career at Systron Donner Automotive in 1999 as an assistant program manager. Over the past seven years, Hammond has worked his way up the ranks as a program manager and senior program manager to his current position.

Hammond earned his Bachelor of Science in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. He resides in Sacramento, Calif. with his wife Debi and their only "child" Syra, a black German Shepherd. He enjoys gardening, reading, wine tasting, hiking and spending time with family.
