System Logistics at ProMat 2015: Intralogistics Goes Now on Stage

System Logistics, global partner for the development of intralogistics automated solutions will present the new fully automated Automatic Picking to Pallet System (APPS) at the ProMat Show 2015 (Booth #4568), in Chicago`s McCormick Place South, from the 23rd to the 26th of March 2015.

ProMat visitors will have the opportunity to discover up close the APPS, System Logistics` latest solution for automatic storage, picking and handling automated pallet lift.

The APPS was launched to take the System Logistics portfolio for automated order fulfillment solutions to the next level. Targeting food and beverage enterprises that require efficient and reliable automated mixed SKU pallet order fulfillment processes, this scalable solution is set to significantly improve handling of a wide range of SKU’s and package types.

“At the core of the APPS operation is the advanced development and experience of System Logistics with Best Fitting™ software, an algorithm of volumetric calculation that determines autonomously the best palletizing scheme” – explains Greg Chaffee, System Logistics` North America VP of Sales. “Compared to other automation solutions, APPS provides tremendous advantages for the end user such as: ease of implementation and management, scalability of the investment, reduction of space, and efficiency of picking” he further adds.

System Logistics’ goal is to provide automated solutions to reduce the complexity of distribution centers in their customers’ supply chain. The constant investment in RD that has always characterized the System Group - of which System Logistics is a member – has led to the development of new solutions designed to obtain the best automation technology for logistic processes as well as to reach management efficiency of the entire customer's production/distribution system.
