Synventive North America Adds Sales and Service Staff


Synventive Molding Solutions, a global leader in hot runner system solutions, has added several new employees to its sales and ser-vice team in North America.

New Employees

-Blair Krauter has joined Synventive as Director of Commercial/Industrial Sales. In this position he will drive Synventive's growth in the small automotive and Commer-cial/Industrial sectors. Based in Bolton, Ontario, Krauter joins Synventive from Metform, where he was VP Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he worked for 12 years at Husky Injection Molding Systems, where he held a variety of sales and marketing positions.

-Rob Cilia, a current Synventive employee, has been assigned the new title of Director of Automotive Sales.
-Mitch Gordon has rejoined Synventive as OEM Account Manager, focusing on providing service/support to OEM's in the automotive industry. Gordon most recently worked as a Director at TMG Sports Marketing, where he also managed injection mold trials. Prior to that he worked at Synventive for 11 years in a variety of sales roles. He will also be instrumental in Synventive's Global Account Management efforts and will work to develop customer-focused technical alliances and events. He will be based at Synventive's Livonia, Michigan office.

-Al Duff has been hired as a Project Manager. Prior to joining Synventive he worked for 14 years at Autodesk (formerly Moldflow Corporation), where he held various positions in sales and customer service for that company's well-known line of mold simulation soft-ware.

-Ron Cosby has been hired as Synventive's new Southeastern US Account Man-ager, and will focus primarily on sales of Synventive hot runners for small part ap-plications. A 40-year veteran of the injection molding industry, Cosby most re-cently worked for DME,. He has many years of sales experience of molding ma-chines and auxiliary equipment, and was also a VP/GM at custom molder Marietta Plastics. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

-Laurentiu Bodica has joined Synventive as a Field Service Technician. In this role he will assist customers with new hot runner mold trials and any hot runner repair needs. He will be based at Synventive's Livonia, Michigan office. Prior to joining Synventive he worked for 5 years as a service technician/engineer for a hot runner system manufac-turer.
