Strong 2012 Demand for Nathan Trotter's Tin and Solder Products

Nathan Trotter announces the hiring of two new employees to assist with melting and alloying operations, bringing the total number of employees to 25. Strong 2012 demand for Nathan Trotter's tin and solder products have also created the need for additional melt capacity. Due to be on-line in early July, a 10,000 lb. gas-fired furnace is currently being installed in the Coatesville facility to go along with the range of smaller and larger furnaces that currently exist. Production Manager, Evan Morris, is quoted as saying, "this furnace will add to our versatility in the production of primary tin/lead, tin/copper, and babbitt alloys. Its medium size also fits perfectly with our quality program and lot traceability initiatives."

Nathan Trotter is the oldest continuously operated metals manufacturer/distributor in the US.
