Strahman Valves, Inc. Acquires BI-TORQ Valve Automation Inc.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Strahman Valves, Inc. has completed negotiations to acquire BI-TORQ Valve Automation Inc. BI-TORQ will continue to operate from its facility located in La Fox, IL. In making the announcement Mr. August F. Percoco, President and CEO of Strahman Valves, Inc. stated, "The acquisition of BI-TORQ Valve Automation was a strategic decision that strengthens BI-TORQ sales and marketing efforts in the U.S. as well as International sales." BI-TORQ will be a Division of Strahman Valves, Inc.
In addition to expanded sales coverage, the acquisition provides Strahman with the capability to design, manufacture and supply a wider range of valve products and actuation equipment, particularly thermal shut-off valves used in fire protection systems.
