SQUAN Completes Transition to Full-Service Network Life-Cycle Services Business

With reorganized executive team, streamlined operations and expanded infrastructure services, SQUAN positioned to significantly expand market areas and customer base.

ORLANDO, FLA. (PRWEB) MAY 20, 2019 - SQUAN, an industry leader in design/build services for telecommunications network infrastructure, announced today at Connect (X) 2019, WIA’s Connectivity Expo it has achieved its long-term strategic objective of transitioning from a construction company to a full-service network life-cycle business. The Company is now able to offer its client base end-to-end or specialized solutions that can be customized to their current and anticipated needs based on rapidly evolving industry trends.

Stated Duane Albro, SQUAN CEO, “The explosive growth of fiber-to-the-X and small cell/5G densification, is well aligned with the total turnkey engineering and construction solutions SQUAN offers, providing us with a significant growth path. This convergence of events, coupled with professional management, has enabled the company to experience significant annual revenue growth for the past three years.”

A key component of the company’s growth plan was the realignment of its executive team. Recent organizational changes include expanding the responsibilities of executive vice president Keith Pennachio to include the role of chief strategy officer (CSO). Additionally, Nick White has been promoted from senior vice president to president of the wireless division. General manager, Don Henry, has been elevated to vice president and general manager of the engineering division.

“Leadership across the organization has created an efficient collaborative ecosystem, putting thought leadership at the forefront of our growth,” said Keith Pennachio, SQUAN CSO/EVP.

Another critical element of the plan was expansion through strategic acquisitions, successfully completed in 2016 and 2017. According to Pennachio, “Adding Inside Plant, Outside Plant Design, and Outside Plant construction, along with professional resources enabled us to create a converged services group focused on the merging of wireless and wireline initiatives.”

The final component of the plan involved full integration of the newly acquired talent, processes and systems into the larger organization to develop a broader service line. For example, the Company augmented its fiber construction division by adding a specialty fiber splicing group, and also added an inside plant engineering functionality to the engineering division.

Albro summarized the net effect of this transition stating, “These strategic moves greatly strengthens our value propositions as we can now offer customers superior quality work at much more competitive prices. This positions us to significantly expand our customer base and gain long-term customer commitments.”

Pennachio added: “The network infrastructure services space has experienced significant change over the past few years, with more CAPEX being dedicated to complex deployments. Through this period, SQUAN focused on holding true to our core tenets dedicated to quality, dependability and reliability, while creating value for our expanding client base. Our business has differentiated through diversification, while focusing on collaboration and consistency.”

Through organic growth and acquisitions, the Company will continue to expand its market areas and network infrastructure service offerings to enterprises, government organizations and service providers across North America.
