Sprint Receives 2008 Mobility Awards for Business Solutions Carrier Leadership, Sprint Navigation
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Mar 05, 2008 - Building on its industry leadership in GPS services, Sprint (NYSE:S) announced today that it has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan with not one, but two 2008 Mobility Awards for location-based services (LBS). Sprint received the 2008 Carrier Leadership Award in LBS for excellence in successfully deploying and delivering a comprehensive suite of LBS business solutions. Sprint also received a 2008 Mobility Award for Sprint Navigation, powered by TeleNav, a service that allows customers to use their phone as a personal navigation device for maps and turn-by-turn directions in the palm of their hand.
