Sprecher + Schuh Partners With Saia-Burgess in North America

Houston, Texas - Jan. 26, 2006 - Sprecher + Schuh announced today a partnership with Saia-Burgess to assume branding and sales in North America of timers manufactured by Saia-Burgess. For several decades, Saia-Burgess has been manufacturing timers for Sprecher + Schuh, differentiated previously by brand name and product number. With the new agreement, all timers will be branded Sprecher + Schuh while continuing to be manufactured by Saia-Burgess.

Our joint venture with Saia-Burgess will enable us to provide world-class products with the latest technology," said Mike Dudas, president of Sprecher + Schuh. "The agreement with Saia-Burgess strengthens our distribution of Sprecher + Schuh timers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. We are working together to make this transition as smooth as possible for all existing Sprecher + Schuh and Saia-Burgess customers and distributors."
The transition begins in early February when Sprecher + Schuh will assume sales activities for the Control Components business of Saia-Burgess USA, based in Vernon Hills, Ill. The new agreement benefits customers by offering better customer support through an expanded sales force and distributors.
Saia-Burgess timer Series KOP and KOL will transition to the Sprecher + Schuh branded Series RZ7-FS/FE. To make ordering simple for Saia-Burgess customers, a cross reference list will be available to show the product numbers for the comparable Sprecher + Schuh Series RZ7 timers. Sprecher + Schuh will assume post-sales support for Saia-Burgess Series KOP and KOL timers.
Saia-Burgess (www.saia-burgess.com), a Swiss-based company founded in 1920, is one of the leading suppliers of timing devices worldwide. This North American agreement is limited to KOP and KOL Series timers and does not include other Saia-Burgess products at this time.
