SPIROL Publishes New Precision Metal Shims Brochure
Danielson, CT – SPIROL is pleased to announce the publication of their new 8-page brochure that covers SPIROL's stamping and machining services, and secondary operations services. It is a comprehensive brochure that shows the breadth of products and services offered by the SPIROL Shim Division based in Stow, Ohio.
SPIROL's Precision Shim product line includes: Specialty Shims, Thrust Washers, Laminated and Edge-Bonded Shims in configurations ranging from simple OD/ID shapes to complex geometries. Products are custom-made to customer specifications from a comprehensive inventory of raw materials in thicknesses from .002 (0.05mm) to .250 (6mm).
Manufacturing processes and value-added services are performed in-house under the direct influence of SPIROL's quality system registered to ISO 9001, AS 9100 and TS/ISO 16949. SPIROL can provide product — including prototypes — in quantities ranging from one piece to thousands.

SPIROL's facility in Stow, Ohio manufactures Precision Shims Thin Metal Stampings, Precision Washers, as well as stamped, laser cut and milled Spacers. In addition to being accredited per Nadcap AC7108 Rev G for Chemical Processing, the Ohio facility is certified to AS 9100:2009, ISO 9001:2008, and is one of only 111 companies in the world that achieved Nadcap accreditation per Nadcap AC7116/4 Nonconventional Machining.
