Spinnaker Holdings Purchases Itasca Systems


EGG HARBOR, WIS. - Spinnaker Holdings, LLC has purchased Itasca Systems, a coil winding machinery and automation company based in Egg Harbor, Wis., according to Charles Brumder, owner and president of Spinnaker Holdings.

The new company will be called Itasca Automation Systems, Brumder said.

"This is a milestone event for our company," Brumder said. "We will now be able to make significant investments toward growing our product line and automation acquisitions."

As part of the acquisition, Itasca Automation Systems is offering a new trade-in promotion for its Model 100 Series programmable coil winders, Brumder said.

The promotion is applicable to the Itasca 100, 100L and 100XD programmable coil winder models. The company is providing sales volume discounts based upon the number of Bachi 115 machines exchanged. Discounts range from 5 percent to 10 percent depending upon volume.

Itasca Automation Systems, LLC, is a manufacturer, designer, integrator and importer of programmable/automated single spindle and multi-spindle coil winding machines and related equipment for the coil winding industry & coil winding automation. The company provides engineering and manufacturing of custom designed machines that include pin inserting, fluxing, soldering, finishing, taping, hot air bonding, wire stripping, component assembly, testing and vision inspection.
