Space-Ray to Show Its Complete Line of Infrared Heaters at 2008 AHR Expo®, January 22-24, 2008, New York City, Booth #478

CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- Space-Ray will show its complete line of unitized low-intensity gas-fired infrared U-tube heaters, straight tube infrared heaters and other infrared heater lines at the 2008 AHR Expo®, January 22-24, 2008, Booth #478 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. The AHR Expo® is the world's largest HVAC&R industry show where leading manufacturers display the latest HVAC&R systems, equipment, components, related products and services.

Space-Ray heaters are available in natural and propane gas and are C. S. A. approved. Space-Ray's line of LTU series tube heaters is well suited for high air change environments and higher mounting heights of 12 ft up to 85 ft. The line includes 21 different models, with heating capacities from 40,000 to 250,000 BTU/hr.

In contrast, the company's line of LTS Series infrared straight tube heaters offers more than 100 different configurations, with heating capacities ranging from 40,000 BTU/hr to 250,000 BTU/hr. The heaters can be used in a straight, L-shape, U-shape or Z-shape configuration. Tube length varies from 15 to 80 feet, depending on the model. Heaters are ideally suited for insulated buildings and facilities with high ceilings. They can be horizontally mounted for a maximum 75-foot sidewall venting capability instead of the normal 15-feet sidewall venting in most other units.

Heaters meet a variety of industrial and commercial needs and have features not available on most competitive units for trouble-free operation, low maintenance and fuel efficiency. Applications range from industrial plants and warehouses to aircraft hangars, machine shops, welds shops, maintenance facilities, automotive body shops and dealerships, fire stations, restaurants, sports facilities and greenhouses.
"With over 200 different heating configurations, Space-Ray has one of the broadest and most complete line of tube heaters in the industry," noted Bob Genisol, Vice
President of Sales & Marketing for Space-Ray. "This enhances our capability to custom design a radiant heating system that meets precise facility requirements for optimum flexibility, economy and maximum radiant energy distribution."

Other Lines Also To Be Shown

Information on Space Ray's other lines of infrared heaters will also be available at the AHR Expo® 2008 in New York City including the company's line of ETU/ETS Series Low Intensity Infrared tube heaters and line of ceramic heaters.

The ETU series heaters come in seven different configurations and provide more uniform heat distribution, making it ideal for spot and high heat loss heating applications. In contrast, the ETS Series Tube Heaters are available in multiple configurations including straight, L-Shape, Expanded U-shape or Z-shape and are ideal for meeting complete building requirements.

The ETU/ETS series heaters range in capacity from 40,000 to 250,000 BTU/hr. The
19 heaters in the line have more than 100 different configurations and are available in both natural and propane gas.

Space-Ray's line of ceramic heaters range in capacity from 26,000 to 160,000 BTU/hr.The high intensity heaters have a porous ceramic emitter that operates in a temperature range of from 1600°F to 1800°F. The ceramic heaters may be suspended hanging horizontally to direct heat straight down or up to a 45° angle to direct heat into a designated area. With the reflector options available, they can be mounted at a variety of mounting heights and angles.
Also available at the AHR Expo 2008 will be information on Space-Ray's exclusive COMPUHEAT® program, a computerized heat loss analysis service, which the company offers free of charge to qualified plant managers, contractors and building owners.
The first U.S. manufacturer to design and manufacture unitized tube heaters, Space-Ray has over 49 years of field experience and exposure to industrial heating and commercial heating problems.
