Alltec Corporation celebrates its 20th anniversary as a global leader in the design, manufacture and installation of lightning protection, grounding and surge suppression technology. Based in the Asheville, North Carolina area since 1991, Alltec is an ISO 9001 certified company.
From its inception Alltec has focused on the design and installation of lightning protection systems. Manufacturing facilities were created in the mid-90's allowing the company to produce a range of advanced products. With the development of the TerraDyne® Electrolytic Grounding System, Alltec was able to markedly grow its business through relationships with the rapidly expanding infrastructure of the telecommunications industry.
As they continued to grow Alltec took seats on institutional panels that established national and international guidelines and recommendations for the industry. They assisted in setting protocols and standards for organizations like Underwriters Laboratories. This commitment to technological research and development has significantly accelerated Alltec's emergence as one of the key leaders in their business.
Alltec has distributors in dozens of countries around the world. Its network of representatives has become the catalyst of its product branding and global identity. The people working at Alltec reflect its customer base in ethnic and cultural diversity. About sixty percent are native to North Carolina or long time transplants from other US cities. The other forty percent are from places as diverse as Nepal, Jordan, Germany and Japan. In 20 years of operation, from installations at oil refineries off the coast of Africa to military bases in North Carolina, Alltec proudly boasts a flawless record which to this day has a perfect score of zero recorded lightning related incidents.
The near future for Alltec brings a concentration on new technologies specifically developed for the oil & gas industry and the release of innovative products and services for telecommunications clients.
