Solidstate Controls Names Greg Abbott Director Of Sales
COLUMBUS, OH--AMETEK Solidstate Controls (Solidstate Controls), of Columbus, Ohio, USA is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Abbott as Director of Sales. In his new position, Greg reports to Mr. George Ardolino, Vice President and Business Unit Manager.
As the Director of Sales, Greg will be responsible for the management and direction of Solidstate Controls' world-wide sales force, including Regional Sales Managers and Country Managers, Applications Engineering Manager, Sales Operations Manager and Contracts Administrator.
"Greg will work closely with all of Solidstate Controls' worldwide sales and marketing offices to ensure smooth and efficient account coverage and help to further establish Solidstate Controls' presence in regions around the world," comments Mr. Ardolino.
"His background as Central U.S. and National (U.S.) Sales Manager over the last eight years prepares him well for his new position. Over the past year, Greg has played a major role in guiding much of the company's worldwide sales effort, helping the company achieve record sales and bookings," he adds.
Mr. Abbott has a BSEE degree from the University of Missouri at Rolla and an M.B.A from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.
