Smucker Laser Adds its Second FiberLaser for Faster Sheet Metal Cutting Services
Smucker Laser Cutting & Metal Fabrication, located in Lancaster, PA, has added a faster Fiber Laser to better service its customers. The Trumpf 3030 includes flexibility, faster speeds and more efficiency with automated sheet metal processing.
The addition of the Liftmaster Compact sheet loader/unloader integrates Industry 4.0 so our employees can concentrate on producing quality parts. This high performance production cell allows for easy parts handling with 24/7 lights out capacity, automatically separating parts from scrap.
Our new Laser’s cutting table measures 5’ x 10’ with the following cutting thickness capacities:
- Steel to 1 ¼ inch
- Stainless Steel to 1 ½ inch
- Aluminum to 1 inch
- Copper to ½ inch
- Brass to ½ inch
Fiber technology allow for faster speeds, cutting of reflective materials such as copper and brass and cutting of galvanized metals.
