Precision, productivity, availability – machine tools must fulfil high expectations. Cycle rates and working speeds are increasing; tolerances are decreasing. Already the smallest programming and operating errors or malfunctions have a serious effect, even causing damage to the machine and downtimes in the overall production process. The company has just supplemented its standard module range with numerous new hub designs and intermediate sleeves – recently a new long intermediate sleeve for the ROBA®-ES elastomer couplings. “With the large diversity of versions, we create a high level of flexibility for the various applications”, explains Ralf Epple, Product Manager at mayr® power transmission. “And so we are now able to offer solutions for all drive constellations in servo technology, rapidly and easily.” The intelligent modular system also ensures high availability, short delivery times for standard components and favourable prices.
