Site Selectors Guild Donates to Hurricane Florence Relief

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — In support of Hurricane Florence relief efforts, the Site Selectors Guild has announced a $5,000 donation through a Google.org matching campaign to help those affected by the natural disaster throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

“We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to the communities that have been affected by the storm and aftermath of Hurricane Florence,” said Didi Caldwell, board chair of the Site Selectors Guild. “We hope this donation will help rebuild the impacted communities in these states, including many whom have been supporters and participants in Guild conferences and events over the years.”

The Guild’s donation was matched by a Google campaign and all donations will support American Red Cross relief efforts for people and communities impacted by Hurricane Florence.

This is not the first time the Guild has partnered with organizations to rebuild communities following natural disasters. Last year, the Guild made donations to Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma recovery efforts in Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico and Texas.
