Sioux Corporation Announces New 55C Ambient Temp Rated Equipment
Beresford, SD – Sioux Corporation has received third party certification to UL and CSA safety standards for operation of our cleaning equipment in -20C to +55C ambient temperatures. This optional configuration will not only provide more reliable, longer lasting equipment but will also ensure the external surface temperature of components used do not exceed the temperature code requirement for the explosive atmosphere it was built to operate in.
This new certification applies to the EN Series steam cleaners/hot pressure washers and cold-water electric motor driven pressure washers, both standard and explosionproof configurations. Standard electrical equipment is normally designed and marked for operation in -20C to +40C ambient temperatures. This optional configuration allows operation of this equipment in -20C to +55C ambient temperatures when constructed with certified components rated and marked for that temperature range. Component changes are required from the standard components used to ensure proper operation of the equipment in these temperatures. Please consult the factory for additional details.
