Siemens Teams with eMeter for Smart Grid Global Centers of Competence


Partnership provides best practice expertise for smart energy services worldwide

ORLANDO, Fla., June 16 -- Siemens Energy has partnered with eMeter, a leading provider in Smart Grid management software, to introduce the first three Global Centers of Competence dedicated to supporting the growing demand for smart energy services. Designed to facilitate the transition from the existing infrastructure to an advanced Smart Grid, the centers will provide new and existing customers with the expertise to understand, deploy and extract maximum value from their Smart Grid investment. The centers will be located in Houston, Texas, U.S.; Vienna, Austria; and Nottingham, England.

The Houston, Texas, center will be serving the Americas, the Vienna, Austria, center will be serving mainland Europe and the Nottingham, England, center will serve the rest of the world.
