Sielox Showcases Enhanced Pinnacle Access Control Platform at ASIS 2016
30 Notable Upgrades for Advanced Access Control and User Convenience
Orlando, FL – At this week’s ASIS 2016, Sielox is featuring its recently released Pinnacle Access Control Platform v.10.0 (booth # 2561). The system’s increased performance and functionality is based on more than 30 new upgrades / features designed to help users further simplify and improve access control management.

Notable enhancements to Sielox Pinnacle access control platform include:
New Look and Feel – new cover and splash screen with new icons and color scheme; re-sized screen layout to accommodate wider monitors with same ease of use. Microsoft Support – compatible with the latest operating systems including Windows 10; SQL Express 2008 R2 and SQL Express Management Studio are now packaged with Pinnacle.
Two-Man Rule – addition of two-man rule moved to controller for decisions – no longer server-based. Available for both hardwired and wireless locks.
Privilege Access Levels / Reports – up to 16 privilege levels for Responders and / or Management during lockdown, reader block and hard anti-passback.
Programming – new conveniences include time zone summaries, 1700 Controller programming, property configuration in Pinnacle or 1700 web page and daily reboot capability for main controller properties.
Integration – Integrated Biometrics enrollment now supported at multiple clients. Upgraded integrations with Easy Lobby visitor management and Otis, Thyssen Krupp and Schindler elevator systems.
Additional system settings improvements include: support for the 1700 Controller web configuration from within Pinnacle, including reversing the red/green reader LED color; controller daily reboot function via the main controller; wireless lock battery status now sent to Pinnacle from pop-up alerts or email notification and the controller web door REX input handling property has been added to door properties. Existing systems will maintain their previous configuration until Pinnacle has been programmed with the new functionality, after which Pinnacle will control all logic based functions.
