Sermatech Texas Adds Advanced Thermal Spray and Diffused Aluminide Processing Centers

Sermatech Texas recently added an advanced thermal spray process center which offers sophisticated thermal spray processes, diffusion coatings, and several wear resistant coatings. The process center includes four state-of-the-art robotic HVOF thermal spray cells which apply MCrAlY overlays and bond coats for advanced thermal barrier coatings. The added diffusion coating capabilities includes both vacuum and standard diffusion coating applications for applying SermaLoy® J and SermAlcote® diffusion aluminides to large and small hot section components. Together, these added capabilities allow Sermatech Texas to provide state-of-the-art internal and external coatings for industrial hot section components.
