See Techcon's Comprehensive Range of Dispensing Application Solutions at the ASSEMBLY Show 2014

Garden Grove, CA – Techcon Systems, a product group of OK International and a leading provider of fluid dispensing systems and products, announces that it will showcase its range of industry-leading dispensing solutions in Booth #344 at The ASSEMBLY Show from October 28-30, 2014 in Rosemont, IL. Visit the booth to meet company representatives and to watch live demonstrations of the company’s innovative bench top robot, jet tech dispenser and auger valve in addition to a range of high-quality consumables.

Designed for fluid dispensing applications from inline to batch, the TSR2000 Bench Top Robot Series is a versatile platform that consistently provides high-performance dispensing results at an affordable price. Ideal applications include dispensing dots of solder paste, form-in-place gasket, filling, potting, encapsulation, bonding and coating. The series consists of the TSR2201, TSR2301 and TSR2401 to accommodate a range of working envelopes. The easy-to-program robot features dedicated fluid dispensing software, eliminating the need for complex robot language programming. With fully integrated positioning and fluid dispensing functions, the system is compatible with all of the company’s syringes, valves and jet dispensing systems.

Also live at the show, the TS9200D Jet Tech is a non-contact dispense valve that can jet fluid viscosities to 400,000 Cps. This system provides a fast jetting action that produces hundreds of precise droplets in less than a second. The valve’s main feature is a single, easily replaceable diaphragm that removes the dynamic fluid seals found in other jet valves. This, in turn, eliminates the need to disassemble, clean and replace worn seals, thereby saving both time and money. The diaphragm also delivers fast cycle rates due to its small mass and the fact that there is no large sliding valve stem to slow down the process. As an additional benefit, this novel diaphragm design provides a wider process window because users can adjust the energy necessary to eject a drop.

The third system highlighted at The ASSEMBLY Show is the TS7000 IMP Series Auger Valves dispense material with a rotary displacement action that uses a rotary feed screw principle. During operation, air pressure pushes the material from the syringe into the feed screw chamber. As the feed screw rotates, the material travels between the threads and out of the dispense tip. The feed screw is driven by the DC motor. TS7000 IMP incorporates an “Interchangeable Material Path” that allows for quick, replacement of the auger screw.

Finally, Techcon will display numerous high-quality consumable products in the booth:

• 700 Series syringe and components, which are made from low-friction polypropylene to ensure accuracy, repeatability and productivity

• TE Series Tips, TE Series Bent Tips, TT Tips, TS-P Plastic Tips, and Brush Tips. Cartridges are available in 2½, 6, 8, 12 and 20 oz. as well as 1/10 gallon capacities. Each size can be used with handheld or bench-mounted, air-powered dispensing tools or manual dispensing tools. Cartridges are molded in either standard or low-density Polyethylene.
