The World's Most Influential Security Professionals Are Gathering in Chicago at GSX 2019 to Learn, Grow and Network

ASIS International, the world's largest membership organization for security management and technology professionals, is bringing the global security community together at Chicago McCormick Place September 8 12 at this year's Global Security Exchange (GSX). More than a conventional trade show, GSX provides a unique forum for education, networking and innovative technologies that impact the safety and security of people, property and assets on the local, regional and global stage.

Approximately 20,000 of the world's leading security professionals from 132 nations will be attending this event.

When/Event Highlights:

On Wednesday, September 11th, GSX will kick off Military and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a keynote presentation by John F. Kelly, retired 4-Star General, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security and White House Chief of Staff.

General sessions are scheduled from global risk expert Ian Bremmer on Monday September 9th, Jacobs CEO Steve Demetriou on Wednesday September 11th, and Cybersecurity Expert Tarah Wheeler on Thursday September 12th.

Over 300 education sessions offered at GSX will tackle modern issues faced by organizations large and small. From workplace violence and sexual assault investigations to campus safety programs, the cannabis industry, and protecting places of worship, GSX offers sessions relevant for security professionals in every industry.

Over 550 technology and solution providers will be exhibiting at GSX with X-Learning stages on the show floor featuring presentations designed to actively shape the future of security professionals. The D3 Experience (Drones, Droids, and Defense) at GSX has been greatly expanded to provide demonstrations of the latest drone technologies for the air, land and underwater. Attendees also have full access to the GSX Startup Sector, dedicated to highlighting new companies at the forefront of new and emerging technologies impacting the security industry; and the GSX Pitch competition, bringing together an elite group of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to watch some of the world's most exciting early-stage startups pitch their ventures.
