Kansas Department of Insurance uses LegaSuite® to create tax payment portal from iSeries applications
ATLANTA, June 27 / / -- Seagull Software , a leading provider of high-performance solutions that transform legacy business applications into service-oriented architecture (SOA) assets, is providing a new KnowledgeCast on June 28, 2006 entitled: 'Kansas Department of Insurance Creates Tax Forms and Audits Portal.'
The KnowledgeCast features Neil Woerman, Director of Information Technology for the Kansas Insurance Department as guest speaker. The online session shares how tax processes were automated and service was improved by using Seagull Software's LegaSuite®. A tax payment portal integrating information from iSeries applications was created. The portal can be accessed by insurance companies and taxes can be securely filed and paid.
