Seagull Adds Support for New Toshiba Thermal Barcode Label Printer Series
Bellevue, Wash., USA - Seagull Scientific, the world's first and largest developer of true Windows® drivers for thermal and other industrial printers, announced with driver version 7.3 it has added support for several thermal barcode label printers from Toshiba America Business Solutions - including the B-EX4T1 and B-EX4T2 thermal printer series. Toshiba says that the two new printer series, released on April 2, 2012, boast the lowest cost of operation, flexibility and ease of use in vertical markets such as manufacturing, retail distribution centers or in-store and transportation/logistics.
The drivers provide users of virtually any Windows-based program access to the advanced features of the Toshiba thermal label printing solution. This includes print head checking, setting of ribbon type with the appropriate ribbon motor voltage, print job status monitoring, and use of "ribbon save" on the B-EX4T1 printer. When Drivers by Seagull® are used along with Seagull's BarTender WYSIWYG design and print software, users get a variety of enhanced functions, such as dynamic text and bar code formatting, powerful database access, professional drawing features and security management functions.
