WESTERLY, RI, August 17, 2007--Seacon Phoenix, a world leader in underwater cable and connector solutions for military and commercial applications, has been renamed Sea Connect Products.
Acquired in April 2007 by AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE:AME) Sea Connect Products enjoys an excellent reputation with the world's leading naval defense contractors and holds strong positions on several current submarine development programs. Headquartered in Westerly, RI, with manufacturing operations in Westerly and Barrow-in-Furness, UK, Sea Connect Products is a unit of AMETEK HCC Industries.
