Scott Fulton, Matt Van Meter Named to New Director Posts at Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems

CANTON, Ohio - Scott Fulton recently assumed duties as director of product development and Matt Van Meter as director of product validation for Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems.

The promotions to newly created positions allow a clearer separation of the product development and product validation processes, reported Phil Pierce, Hendrickson director of global trailer products, in announcing the actions.

A 14-year veteran of Hendrickson trailer, Fulton most recently served as on-highway program manager in marketing. Previously, he held posts of test engineering manager, marketing product manager, testing project manager and test engineer.

Fulton earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University at West Lafayette, Ind.

Elevated from the post of research and development manager, Van Meter also held positions of senior test engineer and test engineer in his nine-year tenure at Hendrickson trailer.

Van Meter joined Hendrickson from Sierra Lobo, a NASA subcontractor at the Glenn Research Center Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio, where he served for two years as a test operations engineer.

He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio.

Hendrickson, a Boler company, is one of the largest global suppliers of truck and tractor suspensions, trailer suspensions, truck and trailer lift axles, bumpers and trim components and springs to the commercial transportation industry.
