N95 medical masks, critical in the fight against COVID-19, have become difficult to source as demand has surged. As states move toward re-opening, the country faces the challenge of protecting its essential workers and frontline healthcare professionals. As a result, it was vital that high quality components were chosen in the application to produce this important product.

SCHUNK was chosen as a major component supplier based on the company’s worldwide product availability and experienced engineering support, which will allow for quick turnaround of masks and ensure the creation of a self-sufficient local supply chain.
