Scholle and IPN to Exhibit Together at 2014 Interpack Tradeshow

NORTHLAKE — Scholle and IPN, performance packaging leaders, are exhibiting together at Interpack in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 8th to May14th. This will be the first joint show for the companies since announcing their combination in December 2013.

The companies' two exhibit spaces will highlight creative packaging solutions for beverage, food, non-food, and healthcare industries. Together, IPN and Scholle use barrier film technology, fitment design, and robust filling and sealing equipment to transform how global brands deliver their products to their consumers around the world.

"Interpack provides a great platform for us to promote our new organization and the unique position that the combined businesses now hold when it comes to developing packaging solutions that will help deliver products safely, naturally, economically, and sustainably," commented Michael Edwards, Scholle Executive Vice President, Market Sectors. "This partnership enables us to develop a wider range of solutions for our direct customers which will enhance the lives of the final consumers."

The Scholle IPN stands will showcase new products including the CleanPouch™ system for pre-made spouted pouches, the CleanPouch™ rotary filler, and closed-loop bag-in-box solutions for institutional foods like dairy. "Our new CleanPouch™ system is really a high-quality, continuous manufacturing process from injection molding of spouts and caps, to transformation of film, to rail loading; all done within a clean room environment. CleanPouch™ will provide a safe, convenient, and reliable spouted pouch solution for our customers in fruit and vegetable purée, dairy, and baby food industries," stated Benoit Zeltner, Sales Manager for IPN. "Combined with our CleanPouch™ Rotary Filler our customers have a complete packaging solution that will help them easily enter the growing spouted pouch market.

"Food safety and protection is a topic at the forefront at this year's Interpack and a growing concern across the globe," stated Arjan van Waarden, Scholle's Development Manager, Food Market Sector. "By providing a closed-loop bag-in-box system for foods like dairy, we are enabling customers to deliver safe, aseptic products to their consumers regardless of geography."
